Job Title: Sr. Hardware Controls Engineer

Location: Rochester Hills MI

Duration: Fulltime

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Experience in industrial automation project design from a controls point of view.

2. Experience in below automation equipment.

a. Gantry systems

b. Conveyor systems

c. Robotic applications

d. Special purpose machines

e. Vehicle Battery assembly lines

3. Should have experience in below

PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley)

Basic programming and debugging

PLC and its hardware understanding

PLC and its hardware selection

Electrical drawing understanding for various applications

Robots (ABB, Fanuc)

Basic programming and debugging

Electrical drawing understanding for various applications

Servo drives/CNC (Siemens)

Basic programming and debugging

Hardware understanding

Selection

Electrical drawing understanding for various applications

VFDs, Scanners, Vision cameras, Label printers, Laser markers

4. Ability to understand issues in industrial automation applications and detailed analysis

MUST HAVES:

• Degree in Electronics / Electrical, MSc Electronics, B.E Electronics / Electrical.
• About 7 10 years of experience required.
• Knowledge of Control Panel components and their selection, Computer Savvy.
• Knowledge of E-Plan, Electrical Drawing, Control Panel Design, Electrical Calculation, Control BOM Selection, should have work experience on PLCs / CNCs, HMIs, drives, servo, etc.
• Experience in Automation & Project based company.
• Hands on experience on E Plan.
• Knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation & Electronics engineering, Pneumatic & Hydraulics.
