What You'll Do

The Digital Asset Specialist will support the Brand Design Team as the process owner for the DAM. This role is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the DAM run smoothly. The Digital Asset Specialist works with the Creative team and business stakeholders to acquire assets, ensure the integrity of metadata, and properly catalog them to make them easy to find on Munchkins DAM portal. This role also serves as a resource and guide for any team members who require training on DAM processes or systems.

Key responsibilities include archiving all Brand Design assets and advocating for asset management best practices.


Ensure management and reliability of the DAM system as well as assisting BD, Marketing, Ecommerce and Sales in day-to-day asset needs.

Manage the digital asset system (Bynder Brand Portal) and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system.

Assist in retrieval, processing, organization, naming, archival and distribution of image assets.

Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata and keywords for assets to ensure accurate usage rights and searchable index for all digital assets.

Register internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions.

Facilitate retrieval of previously cataloged images/shoots from various library servers and hard drives. Collect and inventory all products needed for lifestyle shoots.

Processes all raw images to create contact sheets of all selects.

Archive photo assets as necessary on servers post shoot, and distribute assets to designers and cross-functional teams.

Collect and communicate notes to external retouchers based on designer feedback.

Work with Ecommerce Coordinator to schedule and deliver Amazon A+ product photography needs.

Apply BD graphics to product photography as needed.

Assists in preparation for all shoots including casting sessions, talent booking, creating production books, checking out and in all additional props and wardrobe need.

Track and record allocation of BD Retouching budget that supports Ecommerce, Marketing and Sales teams.

Creates purchase orders needed for Brand Design Team.

Educate, train and promote the use of the Digital Asset Management system.


Bring it!


1 3 years experience utilizing a Digital Asset Management system (WebDAM highly preferred) to organize and share assets.

Proficient knowledge of A/V Video and artwork formats (ProRes, H264) and Artwork (PSD, JPEG, PNG).

Familiarity and comfort with Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, and Adobe Acrobat and other Adobe Suite applications.

Basic photo retouching and clipping skills a plus

Excellent attention to details. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Customer service focus towards all internal and external users.

Strong understanding of photo studio needs/workflows as they relate to file management.

Solid understanding of the creation, maintenance and long-term migration of digital assets.
