Role : Sr Network Engineer (Security, AWS)
Location : Minneapolis, MN /Remote
Job Description :
- Strong Networking and Network security knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting data center and cloud network Infrastructure.
- Level 3 network support experience covering network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- Experience in supporting global network, IP and related security services, troubleshooting resolve complex system and network issues and outages.
- Experience reviewing network configuration settings/policies, strengthening and hardening Network security.
- Proficiency working with third party vendors and technologies.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing network solutions.
- Experience using AWS technology, AWS security best practices, AWS storage options and their underlying consistency models, and AWS networking nuances and how they relate to the integration of AWS services.
- Knowledge of advanced networking architectures and interconnectivity options [e.g., IP VPN, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), virtual private LAN service (VPLS)].
- Experience in design, implementation, and optimization of: Routing architectures (including static and dynamic); multi-region solutions for a global enterprise; highly available connectivity solutions (e.g., AWS Direct Connect, VPN), s3, proxy solutions such as ZScaler, Firewalls, IDS
- Strong Knowledge of CIDR and sub-netting (IPv4 and IPv6); IPv6 transition challenges; and generic solutions for network security features, including AWS WAF, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), DDoS protection
- Knowledge of content delivery network

- Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical).
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing and conflicting priorities.
- Ability to complete proof of concept by coordinating with multiple stakeholder
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written.
- Experience working with operational environments following ITIL, industry standards, frameworks, and reference architectures.
