Position Name:Release Management Support

Job Description:

Provides Infrastructure Services solutions to a wide variety of customers in several industries

Digital workspace part of Global Infrastructure Technology Division and is responsible for managing end-user technologies, devices, backend infrastructure, and support:

• Global Policy Object update on desktops monthly basis
• Application package update – depending on the package, the global update may take 2-3 months. Ex, Citrix workspace, VDA agent, Cisco Any connect
• DW internal Application changes – OneSpace, AMS releases, etc.
• Desktop Build release – once a month during the yearly uplift process
• Hardware testing for IT-Sec, governance-related release Ivanti, etc

Responsibilities:

• Review engineering handover to Ops document, provide feedback
• Prepare global changes
• Raise change tickets and Testing in QA, Prod UAT
• Prepare rollout plan with global leads
• Work with stakeholders for a communication plan, testing in Prod UAT
• Issue follow-up
• Book of work submission to engineering for improvement, bug fixes, etc.
• Change & Impact documents for desktop (Group-wide), Japanese document for group-wide communication

Qualifications:

• Experience applying IT Service Management in day-to-day infrastructure operations:
• Thorough understanding of ITIL concepts and IT Service Management
• Change and Configuration Management
• Problem Management
• Incident Management Experience in applying and using Change Management best practices and processes in the infrastructure environment Fluency in Japanese communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification- Foundation Level or above.
• Basic level of English communication
