Construction Project Manager

We are presently recruiting a Senior Construction Project Manager for our clients to work on contracts in Cork and Kerry. You will have worked on large projects within main contractor/developer for at least 7 years consecutively in a similar capacity and have a minimum of 10 years construction experience in total. You will excel at liaising with Clients on an ongoing basis to ensure expectation are being met and will have previous experience of liaising with local authorities and relevant State agencies and departments. This is a full time, permanent position with our Kerry based client

Duties within post:

• Project design brief and design development, coordination of design team and other consultants.
  
• Coordination and management of any levies and development contributions
  
• Manage compliance statements, commencement notices, Assigned and Ancillary certifier appointments.
  
• Manage All aspects of Construction phase delivery of projects.
  
• Managing HS&E and coordinating the PSDP and PSCS roles and responsibilities.
  
• Detailed Programming of works and production of project execution plans.
  
• Recording progress and managing design changes
  
• Produce subcontractor, material, labour, plant and prelim schedules and trackers.
  
• Procure contractors, materials, labour, plant and prelim.
  
• Manage and monitor project progress, quality and compliance with building regulations.
  
• Managing utility provider appointments and designs.
  
• Managing BCAR documentation and certifications.
  
• Site Taking in Charge procedure and hand over to Local Authorities.
  

Skills, qualifications and experiences:

• 7+ years experience
  
• Degree qualified in Project Management/Civil Engineering (or similar)
  
• Project management & delivery experience within a safety critical environment
  
• Full Clean Driving License
  
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage Contractors
