QA Test Automation Engineer (External Project)

Your Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer for Friday Technology, you are working on projects within the Baloise Group.

You will support one of our major projects in test automation and the implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement measures. This means:

• Direct participation in agile development teams with Scrum
• Independent conception and creation as well as maintenance of automated test cases for web applications
• Execution, control & reporting of the automated test execution
• Automatic generation and management of test data
• Driving the test automation guild at Basler Germany
• Extension and improvement of the specially developed test framework
• Cooperation with the central test management to improve the processes, methods and guidelines

Your ideal background and skillset

• Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed studies with a focus on computer science or vocational training as an IT specialist for application development
  • Programming knowledge in Java is mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of Selenium and web development

• Your plus, not a must:

  • Experience with SoapUI, Jenkins
  • several years of experience in the described area of responsibility
  • First experiences with SCRUM and/or Kanban
