Commodity Manager Indirect Goods & Services (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Lead, train and improve a decentralized European Commodity team for Indirect Purchases.
• Manage, negotiate and report Capex requirements and purchases;
• Develop, implement, monitor and continuously improve a European supply/sourcing strategy for the indirect Commodity;
• Analyze and negotiate CAPEX, Machinery and Equipment purchases;
• Align procurement strategy with plant operations, engineering and other stakeholders;
• Identification of new suppliers and offers, analyze about best quality and price.

Requirements

• +5 years of purchasing experience in a multinational environment;
• Degree in economics or engineering or commercial apprenticeship with additional qualifications;
• Experience in managing indirect commodities and negotiating CapEx contracts;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to express information to different levels in an organization in English & German;
• Ability to take actions, decisions & generate improvement ideas.
