UX/Visual Designer III

Summary:

We are looking for someone who will Develop new effects; work with UX to refine with a goal towards shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our effects studio software to provide feedback on what is / is not working.
• Iterate on and optimize 3D production assets.

Skills/ Education/ Experience:

• Education: A degree in a relevant field: animation, video games, computer science. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Total years experience in what industry, discipline or responsibility
• 5 years of work experience in animation, graphics, gaming or computer science
• Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for role:
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Experience with typescript / javascript.
• Experience with three.js or other web based 3D frameworks.
• Basic modeling, rigging, animation, and texture and lighting skills (with strong expertise in at least one area).
• Expertise in one or more of the following software programs: Maya, 3D Studio Max, Blender (Maya preferred).
• Specific Tools or Applications experience:
• GLSL Shaders
