We are seeking a Director PMOto manage a PM team while participating and contributing to all PM activities.
Our client is a long-standing developer of software solutions for Supply Chain and Retail operations.
Duties
- Collaborate and support project team members by acting as a mentor for all project management (PM) activity.
- Participate in all PM activities and drive successful projects through process improvements and standardization.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver results autonomously by ensuring that projects and the portfolio are managed consistently and delivered on-time, in scope and on budget.
- Experience of project and portfolio management as well as governance, best practices, and a solid comprehension of organisational capacity management.
Requirements
- PMO experience, ideally around IT service delivery and/or ERP implementations (5+ years)
- Team management background including hiring, onboarding, training, and supervision of Project Managers.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience defining processes refinement and best practices, budgeting, project standards, scheduling, delivery framework, risk analysis, communication plans and change management.
- Proven experience with recruitment and retention.
- Ability to coordinate interdepartmental resource allocation and task prioritization.
- Up to 25% travel will be required.
