Title: Project Manager/Program Manager


Location: Salem,Oregon


Duration: 12 months


Position:Remote


Note: Onsite attendance will be required for onboarding.


Job Description:

OIS seeks an experiencedProject Manager/Program Managerto provide support services including facilitating workgroups, tracking status and communicating progress, as well as documenting future state of OIS software standards and processes across several workgroups.


Role And Responsibility:

The Key Person will assist in identifying and documenting base line operational statistics, monitoring, documenting, and communicating results of process changes.Key person will facilitate workgroups, as identified, which could include reviewing and updating process flows, checklists, and project artifacts. Work will also include research and documentation of software needs for targeted groups across OHA and ODHS.This work could include preparing agendas, documenting outcomes, and creating checklists and process flow maps.

Additional work involves facilitation of meetings to gather feedback on redesign of content on OIS intranet page to better assist customers with requests. Key person will work with Content Coordinators to document actions and track work completion to update the site with improved processes.

Facilitate and Track Progress of Multiple Work Streams

  • Develop and Distribute Communications, Dashboards and Project Plans
  • Identify and Document Baseline Metrics
  • Monitor Key Performance Metrics and Track against Base Line
  • Research and Documentation

Required skills and experience:

  • Meeting preparation, facilitation, and documentation
  • Checklist creation capabilities and experience
  • Strong proficiencies required in process flow mapping and future state diagrams
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in MS Visio
  • Lean process experience and ability to identify efficiencies
  • Proficiency and experience in requirements gathering
  • Advanced experience in Project management skills, with the ability to manage overall actions to completion
  • Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
  • Advanced experience and skills in consolidation planning and management
  • Demonstrated proficiency in learning ability
  • Advanced experience in leading, facilitating, and being involved in teamwork
  • Advanced skills involving presentation
  • Advanced proposal writing capabilities and experience





1. Knowledge of: Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Structured analysis, design, construction and implementation methodologies, and project management techniques. Development of computer hardware and system software requirements to support the project initiatives. Preparation and implementation of project timelines and testing plans.
