Set high performance standards and pursue agreed goals (with your Manager) • Strive for constant improvements and takes responsibility for achieving business results and persevere despite obstacles • Report problems to Management with suggestions for resolution • Work with your Manager to ensure you have a clear view of what is required to achieve results, and take action and responsibility to deliver it. People: • Co-ordinate and arrange activities accorded to the General Manager’s office • Appraise GM of the day to day activities of the section • Arrange appointments and meetings for the GM, recording same in diary and ensure the GM has the appropriate documentation for each appointment • Attend meetings such as Department Heads Meeting, Executive Committee Meeting and others as directed by the GM • Take minutes of attended meetings, accurately transcribe and circulate to appropriate personnel • Arrange room and restaurant reservations for VIP guests/personnel • Prepare welcome letters for GM’s signature
