- Coordinating with other managers to ensure that all aspects of the company’s business are running smoothly
- Reviewing and approving expenditures for projects or items that exceed established budgets
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures for operations such as warehousing, shipping, and inventory management
- Ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time by managing staff in warehouse operations
- Developing a long-term strategy for increasing efficiency of operations and improving customer satisfaction
- Establishing relationships with vendors to ensure that they provide high-quality products and services at competitive prices
- Evaluating market conditions to determine trends that will impact future business needs
- Creating budgets and monitoring expenses to ensure that they are within approved limits
- Reporting on progress toward goals and making adjustments to improve performance
