Job Description
- Responsible for and ensure that all Tenders & Bids activities and programs are implemented according to company strategy in order to support achievement of business objectives.
- Finalize and oversee estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidates tenders’ documents for management review and approval.
- Direct and manage the initial invitation to bids, and estimating budget in order to prepare a first risk assessment and to make a decision whether or not to proceed for submitting the such bids.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives. Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Lead, direct, evaluate Managers of sub departments to ensure company strategy is implemented effectively and according to established guidelines.
- Oversee Staff recruitment, appraisals, training staff.
- Oversee regularity reports are produced timely with accuracy to support top management ensure decision making and compliance with regulations.
- Enhance and expand the company’s commercial activities to reflect on revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
- Manages the consultation and communication with engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to prepare economic studies to estimate cost.
- Reviews and approves calculation of final figure for the estimated cost, supplement by adjustments for overheads and profit presenting tender price.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bsc. Degree Engineering or any relevant degree (Business Administration, Economics, , Finance)
Experience and required skills:
- Not less than 10 years , with 3 years in managerial level.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
- Ability to identify new business opportunities
- Post graduate study / MBA is highly preferable.
