Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Market Analytics
•Partner with key Pfizer stakeholders to support the design of analytics and market research plans and the overall management and execution of these plans within the Clusters.
•Connect research and analytics together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations.
•Ensure prioritization of analytic plans to support brand strategy, optimize tactical and omnichannel plans, ensure effective use of promotional resources, provide comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and competition in order to drive accelerated and well-informed commercial decision making.
•Identify the need for advanced analytics and data science to address business opportunities and lead cross-functional analytics teams, as needed.
Performance Management / Operating Plan Support
•Ensure accurate and effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership, including articulation of the data and its implications for the business.
•Proactively identify reporting needs and ensure quality delivery of these reports/dashboards.
•In partnership with key Pfizer stakeholders, support the development of annual Cluster Operating Plans.
Collaboration with other Analytical teams
•Partner with global/regional analytical teams to adapt global strategies to local markets, as needed.
•Actively seek to share knowledge and expertise with other BAI colleagues.
•Proactively seek alignment with other analytics teams (CoEs/other Regional/Global or Country teams) to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders and facilitate best practice sharing.
Vendor/Offshore Resource Management
•Ensure team commissioning and contracting through preferred vendors.
•Accountable for meeting compliance and Corporate SOP obligations of all Primary Market Research projects.
•Manage budgets associated with assigned activities.
•Be accountable for continuous improvement and identification/utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the business.
Skills/ Qualifications
•Fluent in English (written and spoken).
•Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
•Familiarity with pharmaceutical data and visualization tools is preferred
•Experience in the management of secondary data analytics
•Experience in using innovative techniques to monitor, simulate and analyse complex data sets preferred.
•Experience in quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.
•Forecast and modelling experience, preferred, with ability to run models in order to understand risks and uncertainties
•Ability to assess vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process.
•Ability to be flexible and support teams in complex and challenging cross-functional projects.
•Ability to identify, prioritize and describe relevant caveats and uncertainties in research, analytic projects, and forecasts, including how they relate to the business questions.
•Demonstrated Business / Financial Acumen.
Experience
•5+ years’ experience in Biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, business, or related area.
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Masters (or equivalent) preferred in a quantitative discipline.
•Analytics, statistics and/or database knowledge and experience (using tools, applications, platforms, etc.).
•Ability to identify new issues, trends, and opportunities from data.
•Demonstrated analytical capabilities and critical thinking skills.
•Project management and organizational skills with cross-functional teams of diverse colleagues.
•Written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong customer service orientation.

Marketing and Market Research
We are seeking a highly analytical professional with over 5 years of experience in biopharma, analytics, strategic consulting, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s, in a quantitative discipline. Strong analytical skills and experience in secondary data analytics, quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies, and familiarity with forecasting, modeling, and pharmaceutical data are essential.
The candidate should have a proven ability to manage complex data sets, provide strategic insights, and lead cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Expertise in tools like MS Excel and PowerPoint is required, with experience in visualization tools preferred. A strong business and financial acumen, project management, and the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams are critical.
Additionally, the candidate must be skilled in identifying key issues, developing recommendations, and communicating findings effectively to senior leadership. Familiarity with vendor management and compliance is desirable, along with flexibility to adapt strategies to local market needs. Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are a must to succeed in this role. The position is based on-premise and offers an opportunity for high-level strategic impact.
