الوصف الوظيفي
- Direct leadership of the Production and the Continuous Improvement departments; Liaise with the site maintenance department for ongoing production needs; Oversee production activity to ensure that demands are met, while meeting Safety, Quality, and cost expectations; Manage and drive lean initiatives, Continuous Improvement projects, champion Lean Principles and methodologies, RCA’s, Kaizen, SPC, etc.; Control department costs for the products produced, including providing support on managing the overtime of the staff; Manage subordinates involving reviewing weekly timesheets, providing support when managing the PTO/sick and vacation time; Liaise with Quality Assurance for food safety expectations, environmental concerns, GMP and HACCP expectations; Manage the selection and training of all new hires; Verify that all safety policies are being followed as designed; Provide leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development; Drive a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management; Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement in all Production areas with a clear focus on Safety, Food Safety and Quality both procedural and cultural/behavioral. Will directly supervise 3 employees in the positions of Production Supervisor and Production Assistant.
