Keysights Precision Mesoscale Technology Center (PMTC) located in Rancho Santa Margarita CA exists to provide precision machined components that enable the capabilities of Keysights industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a quality technician you will help define document and execute inspection plans using advance metrology equipment to guarantee components meet Keysights exacting standards. You will also perform technical work to ensure that equipment and machinery relating to quality/testing activities are maintained at best working conditions with minimum down will also be responsible to ensure other employees are certified on all the inspection equipment provide training and ensure that the quality standard is applied for consistent results.
Keysight is looking foran individual who is selfmotivated analytical organized detail oriented and assertive. This position requires that you drive our quality initiative while not having management responsibility for the machinists so you must be assertive have leadership qualities and good communication skills. You must also be a team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environment.
Job Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential.
- Preferred: LeanKaizen (continuous improvementPDCA) knowledge and understanding
- Preferred: ISO 9001 and / or FDA Certifications
Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:
- Advanced Metrology
- Programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM)
- Keyence Image Measurement system
- Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis
- Laser micrometer
Education
- University degree specialized training/certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
