Data System Architect

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Data System Architect to support our Huntsville ALlocation.

We are currently seeking a mid/seniorlevel Product Manager to support our Huntsville location.

We are seeking a visionary Data System Architect to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing a robust data infrastructure to support the decentralized management of data across multiple cloud and onpremises domains. The role requires deep technical expertise in data architecture software development and a solid understanding of organizational change management to drive the adoption of a data mesh model.

Duties:

• Design and develop data architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and supports future scalability
• Apply domaindriven design principles to ensure that the data architecture aligns with business domains and their specific requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate these into technical specifications
• Optimize data flow and processing to maximize performance and reliability across distributed data sources and destinations.
• Develop flexible integration strategies to incorporate new technologies and methodologies without disrupting existing operations
• Implement robust data governance practices that ensure data quality and consistency while complying with regulatory requirements

Required Skills/Experience:

• At least 8 years of data architecture design and development experience with various data storage processing technologies and modern data architecture principles such as domaindriven design.
• Proven experience in cloud platforms (data services) big data technologies Azure cloud services including Azure Functions Azure Synapse pipelines and AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms and services (e.g. cloud data services Kafka Spark) and data modeling techniques.
• Proficient in software development with experience in at least one major programming language (e.g. Python Java etc..
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies including CI/CD containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to drive change across organizational boundaries.
• Located in the Huntsville AL area or willing to relocate.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoDSecretclearance is required to perform this work. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain and hold a DoDSecretSecurity Clearanceduring their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
