Job Description

Description of the role: As an Internet Sales Manager at Mazda of Columbia you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our online sales efforts. You will work closely with our sales team to driving online/phone sales and manage to increase online sales and drive customer engagement. Additionally you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries and ensuring a seamless online sales experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales
  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries to ensure mandatory closing percentages
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive customer engagement to maintain 12 departmental closing ratio on internet leads
  • Maintain 25 departmental phone close
  • Develop/manage/train sales associates to set appointments
  • Negotiate effectively with customers to close deals to obtain closing metrics
  • Monitor and analyze online sales data to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in online sales

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in online sales management or BDC capacity
  • Excellent at getting customers in the showroom from the ecom/phone channels
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on setting appointments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
