The Senior Procurement Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the planning organizing and of strategic and tactical procurement activities for direct purchases across multiple commodities within the guidelines of Beckman Coulter Inc policies and procedures while supporting the operational and financial goals and objectives of the Company and maintaining the highest ethical standards.

The Senior Purchasing Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is directly responsible for the planning organizing and of tactical procurement activities specifically purchasing critical components and commodities for production.

This position is part of the Procurement Department located in Chaska MN. At Beckman Coulter our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare one diagnosis at a time.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for supplier management to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through the use of established lean tools
• Follows material procurement and supplier management policies & procedures through SOP work instructions for the supply chain.
• Works closely with Material Control Planning Manufacturing Facilities and Shipping/Receiving functions to track and report status and define priorities to meet production schedules.
• Manages elevated emergencies and part shortages and expedites when necessary working closely with the Corporate Strategic Sourcing group to determine longterm corrective/preventativemeasures.
• Drive targeted sustainable improvement in supplier OTD Working Capital turns Purchase Price Variance and related KPIs/objectives by leveraging DBS tools facilitation skills and change management.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors degree required with 5 years sourcing experience OR Masters degree with 3 years of experience.
• Proven negotiation skills with demonstrated performance results
• Must have a strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems: Oracle EBS and Oracle APS or Cloud working knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel with the ability tolearn new programs that are job specific.
• Selfdriven and ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Prior experience using Kanban systems is a plus.
• Having prior experience in similar industry/regulated environment (FDA GMED NCIS etc)
• Technical knowledge and ability to facilitate technical discussions with suppliers.

The salary range for this role is $95k $110k range. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
