Job Description

*This position is fully remote with the option to commute into one of our offices if desired. Candidates must reside in the United States.*

Youll love this job if you like to:

  • Maintain and update the docketing system with deadlines filings and case details reviewing correspondence from courts clients and attorneys to identify and calendar critical dates accurately.
  • Communicate upcoming deadlines and generate detailed reports on case statuses for attorneys ensuring seamless coordination with the legal team.
  • Verify docketing data integrity resolve discrepancies and assist with IPspecific tasks such as preparing patent and trademark applications or responses to office actions.
  • Conduct legal research related to intellectual property matters and assist with drafting correspondence agreements or other documents under attorney supervision.
  • Support special projects within the IP team contributing to case management and client communications as needed.

What youll need to be successful:

  • Associates or bachelors degree preferred (paralegal certification a plus) though a high school diploma with significant experience may suffice.
  • 4 years of experience in docketing paralegal work or a related role ideally within intellectual property law.
  • Proficiency with docketing software (e.g. AQX Pattsy CPI etc) Microsoft Office and IP research tools (e.g. USPTO databases).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills paired with strong problemsolving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of patent trademark and copyright procedures with the ability to work independently in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
