Burson is looking to hire a Freelance Social Analytics Manager to join our Social Listening and Measurement Analytics team in support of a global top 10 technology company. This is an opportunity to engage social listening analysis across the entire brand footprint inclusive of issue management reputation employee sentiment and products.
The ideal candidate will have extensive Brandwatch experience a strong understanding of social media listening cultural and competitor trends owned and earned analytics reporting excellent research and writing skills and a passion for identifying socialfirst insights.

WORKING HOURS & SCHEDULING:
- Important note: This role only requires weekend hours on Saturdays & Sundays and does not include any weekday work hours.
Location Preference: Preferred candidates in the PT time zone but open to MT CT and ET. - Schedule Requirement: This freelance role requires weekend availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays during the following hours across all PT MT CT ET:
- 8 AM 4 PM PT / 9 AM 5 PM MT / 10 AM 6 PM CT / 11 AM 7 PM ET
We are open to candidates who can work both days split weekend hours or cover multiple shifts. Were flexible and can collaborate to determine the best schedule but weekend availabilitywhether Saturday Sunday or bothis required.
WHAT YOULL DO:
- Work with one of the most globally recognized companies in the world providing social listening and intelligence to transform brands and captivate audiences.
- Work on Brand and Corporate Reputation issues which may include sustainability social impact ESG and other public affairs/corporate communication issues relevant to the company.
- Be ready to dive in headfirst into the clients daytoday opportunities and challenges standing shouldertoshoulder with them as one team in a dynamic and fastpaced team environment.
- Monitor track and evaluate campaign performance analytics based on client KPIs targets and baselines.
- Proactively deep dives into data to inform and steer critical decision making as well as work with complex datasets to aggregate ingest and organize data in a clean readytouse fashion in order for the team to deliver dataled findings.
- Analyze paid owned earned social and web data to provide insight into the performance of client marketing and PR programs.
- Analyze large complex and often unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Monitor social channels and analyze company consumer and trending conversations.
- Provide social analytics reporting and work within a team to develop and execute creative digital and social media content campaigns and influencer engagement.
- Work closely and collaborate with an international team for valuable global experience.
EXPERIENCE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO SUCCESS:
- 45 years of relevant work experience in social media listening and analytics
- Detailoriented while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends; intellectually curious
- Keen eye for data trends and the ability to investigate and extract insights from large technical data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on a team and handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously.
- Strong MS Office knowledge including Excel (pivot tables and Macro knowledge a plus) and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of social listening creating boolean queries and AI tools
- Exposure to quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Brandwatch Sprinklr or Newswhip. Brandwatch experience is required.
- Must be proficient and comfortable using Google Suite including Google Alerts Google Sheets Google Docs Google Meet and more.

- Second language fluency in Spanish Portuguese or French is a plus

The hourly rate for this position at the time of this posting may range from $70/hr. to $110/hr. Individual compensation varies based on jobrelated factors including location business needs level of responsibility experience and qualifications.
