Elekta is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Linacs and Unitys system to join our team! This role involves installing new equipment providing support to existing customers and selling spare parts. If you have a passion for technology problemsolving and customer service wed love to hear from you.
What youll do at Elekta
Would you like to be part of our driven global team where we aim to attract and invite the best competences to Elekta We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Order Fulfilment & Service Organization.
This is a homebased role with a requirement to travel throughout Nordics as and as
directed by the Nordic Regional Service Manager. The Elekta linear accelerators and Unity systems are high end system providing electron and photon treatments for cancer patients. The advanced systems require deep knowledge in high power fine electronics computer science CBCT Xray MRI water cooling systems and vacuum.
Responsibilities
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on Elekta products after completing approved training.
Maintain and update customer files.
Provide technical support to customers and Elekta employees via phone email and onsite visits.
Train customers to use and maintain Elekta products.
Continuously enhance technical knowledge of Elekta equipment.
Participate in site visits or online meetings with the Regional Service Manager.
Support customers through helpdesk assistance remote connections or Elekta Remote Support.
Authority & Sales Responsibilities:
Sell spare parts according to price lists.
Perform service on Elekta equipment youve been trained on.
Sign customer acceptance forms and hand over Elekta equipment to customers.
What you bring
A technical degree in Medical Engineering or Electronics.
Minimum 3 yrs experience as a hospital engineer or field service engineer in two or more modalities.
Proficiency in computers and networking.
Strong command of Swedish and English both written and verbal.
Passion for educating and training others.
Strong interpersonal and cultural awareness skills.
Willingness to continuously learn and improve expertise in Elekta products.
