Job Description
- Experience 5 yrs):
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience managing databases within ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS for report development.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI methodologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and PG SQL.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with database backup recovery security and integrity.
- Familiarity with database design documentation and coding.
- Experience with DBA tools and utilities specific to PostgreSQL.
- Database Management:
- Install configure and upgrade PostgreSQL database servers and related applications.
- Design and implement database schemas tailored to ERP requirements.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency.
- Expertise in working with popular DBMS platforms such as Oracle Microsoft SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL(preferred) or MongoDB.
- Data Integration (SSIS):
- Develop and manage SSIS packages to extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems.
