Job Description
To be a Success in thisrole you will...
Deliver the programme by:
- Enabling alignment of all key stakeholders across the value chain
- Creating programme plans to deliver to business need
- Making sure all stakeholders are aware of programme requirements
- Identifying and mitigating risks and barriers to progress
- Tracking & reporting on status vs key plan dates and technical targets
- Setting a positive tone and work to motivate all project stakeholders and team members
- Driving and facilitating a formal disciplined gateway review process effectively
- Processing ECNs (Engineering Change Instructions) ensuring the requirements are clearly communicated and aligned with the programme needs
- Identify resources required to achieve programme targets and drive the relevant functions to provide this resource
- Supporting supplier design agreements to engage the supplier early in the design process and minimise time from idea to stores and cost.

- Understanding people their preferences and their strengths and how to make the most of them. Motivating a team; leading by example enabling and expecting action and driving high performance
- Communication; clear concise confident happy to speak up and challenge
- Remaining calm under pressure
- Simplifying complexity understanding the fine detail and being able to take a step back to translate that message to others
- Making rational decisions based on available information (even when incomplete) taking appropriate action prioritising under pressure and understanding when to escalate
- Facilitating group discussions managing and preventing conflict
Have Experience of...
- A similar or relevant position
- Influencing in all directions in order to achieve programme requirements
- Racing/motorsport or similar industries (e.g. first tier supplier)
- Working in an equally fast paced/demanding environment (desirable)
- Delivering programmes from concept to customer (full life cycle) using a defined framework/process (quality gate system) successfully
- Excel SAP and Microsoft Project
Demonstrate Knowledge of...
- Value stream mapping (information & materials flow)
- Planning ERP Systems
- Operating in a technical environment
- Operating in a matrix structure
Hold these Qualifications...
- An Engineering Science or business based degree at 2.1 level or above (or equivalent)
- Post graduate professional development such as chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g.CEng) or a business related degree (e.g MBA) desirable
