Contracted hours: Fulltime Permanent Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

About the role
Were looking for a Therapeutic Trainer & Outreach Practitioner to join our Outreach team to develop reflective practices and collaborative working to strengthen the culture of leadership in social care the youth criminal justice systems and education sectors to support vulnerable children their families and the wider community.
Ideally we are looking for a Practitioner who has already completed a Foundation Degree (FdA) in Therapeutic Work with Children and Young People (or equivalent). However we would also be keen to hear from candidates who do not yet have the qualification but would be willing to undertake the foundation degree at the next intake. The FdA course is run by The Mulberry Bush and validated by the University of the West of England. The qualification would be fully funded by The Mulberry Bush.

About the Mulberry Bush
The Mulberry Bush is a therapeutic community registered as a childrens home and a nonmaintained residential special school. We are dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by childhood trauma. Since 1948 weve been helping children and those around them through specialist therapeutic services and fulfilling activities.
Our Outreach service takes our expertise to train and support education social care youth justice and health professionals to work more effectively with troubled and traumatised people. Through these services we aim to enhance the quality of care education and health provision for people across the UK and abroad improving their lives and interrupting the generational pattern.
