The Senior/Principal Project Manager is responsible for managing New product development and Sustaining projects for chromatography and related consumables products for protein purification. You will manage the full project life cycle successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment as well as support to launched products.
This position reports to the Director R&D PMO Resin & Technology and is part of the Resin & Tech R&D department located in Uppsala Sweden and will be an onsite role.
What you will do:
- Coordinate and execute crossfunctional projects focused on the delivery of novel chromatography resins and technology products to the Bioprocessing market.
- Define and plan projects involving multiple functions and stakeholders and maintain active dialogue with business area representatives to ensure project deliveries are aligned with developing market needs.
- Drive and facilitate project work ensuring necessary decisions to reach company goals are made and effected. Manage deviations quality objectives regulatory requirements schedules and program risks and make decisions based on business objectives.
- Monitor project progress and cost development and in collaboration with the portfolio manager identify opportunities to deliver according to set scope within timelines and in budget.
- Take leadership of improvements related to methodologies/ways of working for project management within the agreed organizational framework.
- Working in a global environment with stakeholders and project members at different sites.
Who you are:
- MSc or BSc in Science preferably in the chemistry field
- At least 10 years of project management experience from technology product development or sustaining projects.
- Project manager training or equal experience of industrial project management from leading projects or acting as a subproject manager in major projects.
- Solid experience from research development and/or production within relevant technical field (Hardware/Consumables or Chemistry)
- English and Swedish as a working language.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Fluency in Swedish.
