Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Liquid Shopify Developer to join our Resideo team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopifys Liquid templating language and a proven track record of building customizing and optimizing Shopify themes. You will work closely with our design marketing and development teams to create seamless and engaging ecommerce experiences.
JOB DUTIES:
Theme Development & Customization:
- Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive designs to ensure seamless performance across all devices.
Integrations & Features:
- Develop and integrate custom features and functionalities based on business requirements.
- Work with Shopify APIs apps and thirdparty tools to enhance platform capabilities.
- Performance Optimization:
- Ensure website speed SEO and overall performance are optimized.
- Debug and resolve issues related to code or thirdparty integrations.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into functional userfriendly interfaces.
- Work with the marketing team to implement A/B testing promotional pages and custom landing pages.
Maintenance:
- Update and maintain the Shopify store to ensure uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs or errors promptly.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of experience in Shopifys Liquid templating language.
- 5 Years experience in Shopifys ecosystem.
- 3 years in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (and frameworks like jQuery or React if needed).
- 3 5 years Experience in customizing Shopify themes and building custom templates.
- 35 years with Shopify APIs and thirdparty app integrations.
- 35 years of exepreince inversion control systems (e.g. Git).
- 35 years in Liquid Storefronts for Theme Developers Certification is a plus.
WE VALUE:
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for ecommerce.
- Consumer and B2B Commerce Experience
- Experience with JSON GraphQL or RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical thinking and problemsolving ability.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Detailoriented approach to quality and performance.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
