Job Description
Were looking for a confident and capable CAD Technician to join our design team and support key water infrastructure projects. If youve built up CAD experience in any industry and want to apply it in a new sector well give you the support and training to make the transition.
What youll be doing:
- Producing highquality AutoCAD drawings to support water infrastructure designs
- Ensuring all drawings are accurate compliant and delivered on time
- Redrafting external design elements and hand sketches onto AutoCAD templates
- Providing full drawing office support to Clients Technical and Operations teams
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with internal project teams
- Managing and maintaining the drawing record database
What were looking for:
- Proven CAD experience in any sector (e.g. construction housing engineering)
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- A proactive collaborative attitude
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident with IT including Microsoft Office
