You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated parttime 15 hours/week) Program Coordinator to help lead a regional collaborative that seeks to increase access to healthy affordable food and opportunities for active living. The Mass in Motion Municipal Wellness and Leadership Program (Mass in Motion) an initiative of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health is a statewide movement to lower the risk of chronic disease by addressing the root causes of inequitable conditions through policy systems and environmental (PSE) change strategies.
Bay State Community Services serves as the grant manager with BSCS staff providing backbone support to participating municipal partners including Quincy Milton Randolph and Weymouth. This role will partner with the parttime municipal MiM Coordinators to implement MiM in Quincy and the region.
This position will also provide additional coordination support for the City of Quincy. As such the BSCS Coordinator will be responsible for creating partnerships with Quincy municipal departments and communitybased organizations leading regional communications efforts and engaging community members with lived experience of health inequities.
