The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated RAID Manager to join our team (in a project position capacity through at least 12/31/29 and play a crucial role in proactively identifying assessing and managing risks issues assumptions and dependencies within The Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) Team. The RAID Manager will implement effective risk and issue management strategies maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure transparent communication across all levels of the organization. In this role you will be instrumental in safeguarding project health keeping initiatives on track and enabling informed decisionmaking. As the CCWIS RAID Manager you will collaborate with key stakeholders including the project team executive management oversight partners and federal partners to ensure risks and issues are effectively addressed and communicated ultimately driving project success.

Some of what you will get to do:
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks including contingency plans and risk control measures.
  • Monitor and identify issues that arise during the project or operations
  • Develop and implement action plans to address and resolve issues effectively.
  • Recognize and document dependencies between different project tasks and processes.
  • Ensure that dependencies are managed to avoid delays or conflicts and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes.
  • Keep detailed and uptodate records of all risks assumptions issues and dependencies.
  • Monitor ongoing RAID activities and ensure that risk mitigation assumption validation issue resolution and dependency management are on track.
  • Ensure that RAID management practices comply with DCYF State and Federal regulations and policies.
  • Conduct audits of RAID processes to ensure effectiveness and adherence to best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Nine years of experience in project management or risk management preferably in a largescale IT implementation or public sector environment.

OR

Bachelors degree in business administration public administration sociology education early learning social services or a related field from an accredited institution whose accreditation is recognized by the US Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or foreign equivalent

AND

Seven years of experience in project management or risk management preferably in a largescale IT implementation or public sector environment.

In addition to those required qualifications our ideal applicant will also have the following and will be able to:

  • Experience with managing RAID logs and conducting risk workshops.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
