Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in IT application management and vendor relationships

We are seeking an Application and Supplier Manager to oversee the lifecycle performance and supplier contracts of critical business applications. In this role youll ensure our applications meet operational needs deliver highquality service and provide excellent value for money.

What youll be doing:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of key applications from selection through upgrades to eventual replacement ensuring they align with business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to contracts SLAs and performance standards including negotiating favourable terms.
  • Monitor application performance implement KPIs and drive continuous improvement to enhance service quality and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage the application budget controlling costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards and mitigate risks related to application performance and vendor dependencies.

About You:

  • Significant experience in IT application management or vendor management ideally within a transport or operationsfocused industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) application support and software lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in vendor management performance monitoring tools and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong financial and budget management acumen.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex vendor relationships.
