The Role:
Our site in Alconbury near Huntingdon is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a fulltime basis.
Primarily your role will be to carry out maintenance fault finding and installation work on mechanical/electrical building services and associated equipment.
While core hours will be MondayFriday 8:30am5pm there will be an oncall rota where you will be available 1 in every 56 weeks to attend any emergencies out of hours.
Job responsibilities include:
Participating as a member of an integrated maintenance team.
Maintain and fault find on a wide range of mechanical/electrical services.
Reading mechanical/electrical services drawings and schematics.
Operating inspecting and repairing heating pressure and commercial hot and cold domestic water systems.
Operating inspecting and maintaining HVAC plant and associated local/BMS systems
Repairing/ fault diagnosing electrical equipment and installations in line with current regulations.

BTEC City & Guilds recognised Apprenticeship required in Maintenance Electrical or similar field
Requirements:
35 years experience in a similar role
Must live within 45 minutes of Alconbury due to oncall requirement
