Job Description
Location: Cape Town
Reports to: Planning Manager
Overall Purpose: The Planning Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing the daytoday planning activities of the organization ensuring that all projects and tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the planning process for multiple projects
- Develop project timelines and schedules
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure efficient resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Implement and maintain project tracking systems and tools
- Prepare reports and present project status updates to stakeholders
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Project Management or a related field
- Prior experience in project planning or coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
