Whether through exclusive or nonexclusive agreements our relationships with SUs provide brands with a single point of access to all 2.86 million students. We hold unique realtime insight into how student communities function ensuring that when brands use native to engage students they do so from the most informed and effective perspective.
What youll be working on:
As an Account Executive you will play a crucial role in supporting our Account Managers to successfully deliver client campaigns. This is a dynamic and varied position working across multiple client marketing campaigns at once ensuring seamless and contributing to impactful brand activations.
Your daytoday activities will include:
- You will support an Account Manager in overseeing and delivering national and enterprise client accounts. This includes managing the sales pipeline contributing to concept ideation assisting with pitches overseeing campaign and supporting reconciliation processes.
- While the role is primarily operational there will be occasions when you will be clientfacing. To succeed youll need a strong understanding of all assigned projects and campaigns ensuring you can confidently support discussions and decisionmaking.
- Your responsibilities will span a range of essential tasks including booking media placements maintaining and updating our CRM system assisting with budget management support writing compelling pitch decks and proposals generating accurate quotes and managing supplier relationships including negotiations.
- From time to time you will also be involved in ontheground campaign delivery across the UK supporting event activations and experiential marketing initiatives.
- The campaigns you work on will span multiple media channels including digital marketing advertising live events and experiential activations.
You should apply if:
- You have at least 1 year of experience in media events experiential marketing or advertising both digitally and on the ground during event delivery.
- Youll have a strong understanding of the Gen Z marketing and advertising environment and preferably within the UK University space.
- Ideally youll have gone to a UK university and been immersed in the events and Students Union culture.
- A proactive optimistic attitude with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks independently. Whether meeting pitch and budget deadlines or managing suppliers on the ground.
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM software and project management tools is a plus.
