Job Description

AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small and midmarket accounts to enterpriselevel customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that worldclass support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building missioncritical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon Web Services is leading the
next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a worldclass candidate to lead our Partner Sales function in ANZ. As the Head of Sales you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazons cloud platform services across AWSs most strategic business partners and their customers.

As part of the ANZ Leadership Team at AWS this role will be responsible for our ANZ Partner Strategy connecting our AWS Partner Networks solutions and capacity and our customers.

Leading the Partners Everywhere strategy this leader will manage a diverse team of Partner Sales Managers whos remit every day is to help customers transform through the use of our APN services and solutions.

The AWS Partner Network includes the largest systems integration and consulting companies as well as thousands of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS as their cloud platform of choice.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and own the of the ANZ Partner Strategy
Drive proactive sales planning with our Partners to ensure the business can meet its customer aspirations
Ensure that AWS ANZ has the right capacity of Partner Sellers in our APN to support our Field motions
Lead a sales governance structure for the Partner Sales Team
Own CxO relationship in our AWS Partner Network in ANZ
Develop the right team to ensure both Partner and Customer success

10 years of technology related sales or business development experience
5 years of people manager experience
Prior experience working with consulting partners or system integrators to achieve sales revenue targets
Experience leading major initiatives in a multinational environment with internal and external stakeholders across sales business development and program management
Proven ability to deliver results


Sales Leadership with proven results working with Partners
Cloud or SaaS platform experience
Passion for helping Partnerships grow
Entrepreneurial builder mentality
