We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Lab Automation Engineerin Toronto ON (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Independently design implement and validate highthroughput screening assays for formulation and assay development.
- Expertise with Hamilton liquid handling systems and SoftMax Pro plate readers for smooth integration in laboratory workflows.
- Create quality assurance protocols for assay validation.
Qualification:
- Master of Science or Applied Science degree with a specialization in robotics mechanical engineering or highthroughput assay development.
- Over 3 years of experience in laboratory automation and Hamilton systems.
- Proficiency in automating intricate liquid handling workflows along with other platforms like SoftMax Pro and electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Skilled in programming languages such as Python and JavaScriptto develop automated scripts and minimize manual processes.
- Experience with data pipelines database management (SQL/NoSQL) and system integration to improve automation and optimize workflow efficiency.
