Rated CQC Outstanding Aurora Orchard Manor are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Skills Tutor forour young people on a full time basis.
Set within 14 acres Orchard Manor offers a supportive living and learning environment for young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. With specialist facilities and a focus on promoting independence we support each of our young people through the transition from education into adulthood.
The Role:
The Skills Tutor will provide specialised educational support to young adults with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy autism brain injury and degenerative disorders. The tutor will develop and implement individualised learning plans to enhance communication skills promote independence and improve the young peoples overall quality of life.
