Job Description
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design and Develop New products related to Dry type Transformers
- Design and document customer Special Orders
- Ensure product compliance as per International Standards and Regulatory requirements UL CSA IEC and NEC
- Transformer Power supply and UPS testing
- Coordinate and attend Reviews and Meetings with Internal and Business Unit Customers
- Conduct DFMEA DFM FMEA etc.
You research initiatives and try innovative approaches. You capitalize on trends to craft future opportunities. You prepare content for communication that is impactful.
- Expert in Transformer Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Optimized Design Services (OPS) software or similar software MS Excel MS Power Point.
- Experience: In Transformer Design Preferably Low Voltage Dry Type Distribution Transformers Ventilated Transformer Encapsulated Transformer Industrial control Transformer
- Should have experience in Transformer Design parameters Efficiency Impedance Thermal calculation Core & Coil Losses etc.
- Exposure to international standards is preferred (UL CSA IEC/ATEX and NEC)
- Knowledge of Transformer testing Efficiency testing Temperature rise No load Losses Load Losses etc
- Good understanding of Transformer Manufacturing and Materials Coil Winding Electrical Steel Lamination Core assembly Encapsulation etc.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering with 810 years of Relevant Experience in Transformer Design.
- Worked in Global Environment
- Knows Mechanical Aspect of Transformer Design
