A partner hospital in Richardson/Dallas TX is seeking a fulltime Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a DVM who is passionate about providing highquality care in an urgent care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care to animals diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe medications and treatments tailored to each patients needs.
- Perform surgery when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Communicate with clients to ensure they are fully informed about their pets health and care plan.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active license in good standing to practice in Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience in urgent care medicine is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a varying caseload including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively.
