Job Description
We are looking for hardworking reliable and safety minded individuals to join our team as an Inspector. As an Inspector you will be the first point of contact with our customers as they bring s materials into the yard. Your primary responsibilities will be inspecting and documenting customer loads and directing traffic to the proper collection site within the yard.
This position will work outside in varying weather conditions and SA Recycling strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health Safety and Environmental standards.
Working hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and on Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities of an Inspector:
- Maintain a broad and working knowledge of different types of ferrous and nonferrous materials.
- Identify and grade inbound s and reject unacceptable items.
- Direct customer traffic to the appropriate collection sites.
- Inputs customer and s information into SA Recyclings customer database and completes inspection tickets.
- Observes all customer dropoffs for unacceptable items.
- Performs other general laborer duties as directed.
Qualifications of an Inspector:
- High School diploma GED Certification or equivalent work experience.
- 1year previous general labor in the s metal or construction industries preferred.
- Ability to use a computer tablet.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
- Ability to carry out instructions provided in written oral or diagrammatic form.
- Ability to learn new tasks as assigned required.
