Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Test Engineer for a fulltime midlevel position in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of professional experience. This role involves developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in test automation with a minimum of 4 years in the field.
- Handson experience with Selenium and Java (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in using JIRA for project and issue tracking to streamline test processes.
- Experience with Postman for API testing to ensure robust RESTful API validation.
- Knowledge of using TestRail for efficient test management and documentation of testing phases.
- Competency in automation tools like Cypress to enhance endtoend test coverage.
- Working knowledge of Python for writing clear and efficient automation scripts.
- Strong skills in API testing to verify the functionality and performance of service interfaces.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automation frameworks to ensure highproductivity testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and close quality gaps during the software lifecycle.
- Execute automated test procedures to verify software quality across various platforms and devices.
- Analyze test results diagnose issues and coordinate with developers to implement solutions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive test reports to stakeholders highlighting quality metrics and insights.
- Utilize project management tools to effectively prioritize and manage multiple testing projects.
- Mentor junior QA team members fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
