Job Summary
An Administrative Assistant oversee routine and advanced duties for other professionals at Kellogg. They work closely with administrators and other employees to organize files create correspondence and prepare reports or documents. Their job is to complete a range of clerical tasks including managing calendars sorting mail preparing invoices answering calls and greeting guests. They also help Kellogg present their brand in a positive and pleasant way to clients employees and customers. Administrative assistants may also be responsible for helping to plan events and managing supervisors schedules.
Primary Responsibilities:
Answering and routing phone calls to the appropriate staff members
Scheduling appointments
Greeting clients and visitors in the lobby
Filing documents and records retention
Some data entry in Word and Excel
Other duties as assigned
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Can prioritize projects in a fastpaced environment
Accurate in data entry and high overall attention to detail
Contribute as a team player while focusing on supervisors priorities
Proficient in writing editing and typing
Proficient in Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook
Professional and clientfriendly with phone and email communication
Selfmotivated organized and focused without supervision
Maintain a positive problemsolving attitude in stressful situations
Willing to quickly learn any new skills
