Job Description

Sales Support Specialist Mortgage Insurance

This opportunity is with our client in the insurance industry. The role supports sales operations and technology platforms used by brokers and lenders ensuring smooth workflows timely communication and outstanding service delivery. Based in Waterloo Ontario the position follows a hybrid work model with 2 3 days per week onsite.

Hourly salary of $26 to $28 based on experience.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 2 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Deliver customer service through phone and email by responding to inquiries and following through to resolution.
Provide business support for Mortgage Protection Plan (MPP) processes to mortgage brokers lenders and internal sales team members.
Assist with profile setup and system access for lenders and brokers participating in MCI programs.
Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate and support broker training presentations.
Troubleshoot and escalate technology or process issues as needed while communicating with production support.
Support continuous improvement by offering feedback on process and system enhancements.
Manage and prioritize tasks from a shared team inbox in coordination with colleagues.
Respond to questions related to compensation product training licensing and policy details.
Contribute to crossfunctional business initiatives and act as a point of contact for other internal departments.

What you will need to succeed:

Postgraduate education or equivalent relevant experience.
2 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite data entry and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Strong communication interpersonal and analytical skills.
Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to provide effective support in a customerfacing service environment.
Adaptable and open to taking on new responsibilities to support sales functions.
Proficient in remote work with a suitable home workspace.
Bilingual fluency in English and French to support clients in both languages is considered an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in the Mortgage Creditor Industry is a plus.
