Broadridge is hiring! Were seeking a Virtualization Engineer to join our stellar team. You will be responsible for designing deploying and administering VMwarebased infrastructure contributing to the development of Private Cloud strategy and infrastructure roadmap. You will prepare project plans estimate project tasks and assist with prioritization focusing on capacity planning and performance analytics. In this role you will collaborate with vendors and manage service providers while overseeing operations and establishing standard operating procedures.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandrequired to be in an office.

Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and administer VMware based infrastructure

• Input into Private Cloud strategy and infrastructure roadmap

• Prepare project plans provide estimates for project tasks and assist with prioritization in relation to capacity planning and performance analytics.

• Collaborate with vendors manage service providers and colleagues.

• Oversee operations establish process and standard operating procedures

• Be the last line defense and escalation point for high severity production incidents

• Build OS images patch bundles scripts and automation

• Deploy and manage vSphere vRA vRO Zerto Morpheus

• Write code in PowerShell/ Python/Ruby/Go

Qualifications

• 3 years experience working as a Virtualization Engineer

• Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing with engineers vendors managers business clients.

• Ability to write standard operating procedures documentation strategy documents and roadmaps

• Solid knowledge of VMware ESXi 7.x and 8.x VMware vCenter server 7 & 8 including VMware Cloud Foundation components.

• Knowledge ESXi CLI vSphere PowerCLI

• Deep understanding of resiliency technologies (DRS HA FT)

• Comfortable in several scripting languages (PowerShell Python Ruby Go etc).

• Understanding of SAN multipath and storage technologies (vSAN / Zerto)

• Able to be on call one week a month off hours and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good understanding of centralized configuration management orchestration and infrastructure as code techniques (Ansible or Terraform)

• Kubernetes and container platforms (Tanzu / Openshift)

• Experience with Observability / Monitoring tooling Datadog Splunk ELK

• Experienced on NSXV & NSXT implementation along with microsegmentation.

• Experience with Morpheus Data cloud management platform.

• Certification of VMware 6.5 Data Center Virtualization (VCP6.5DCV) or later equivalent

• Certification of VMware Network Virtualization (VCP6NV) or later equivalent

Compensation Range:The salary range for this position is between $110000 $130000.Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidates final salary including but not limited to relevant experience skills and education.
