Financial Advisor

Wenatchee WA

Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 40 hours per week


A Day in Your Life at Peoples Bank:

As a Financial Advisor you are responsible for providing customers of Peoples Bank with expert advice on financial planning and investments. You will be meeting with bank clients and prospects to assess their needs develop comprehensive financial plans and recommend suitable investment opportunities.


Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include:

  • You will develop and maintain networks of influence and initiate contact with prospective customers existing bank customers and referrals.
  • You will meet with customers to determine their financial objectives and risk tolerance discuss longterm strategies and develop appropriate financial and investment plans.
  • You will assist customers with investment options and monitor investments and investment plans.
  • You will schedule annual followup meetings with customers to review the status of their investment portfolios.
  • You will support the department in marketing Peoples Investments products and services as well as educate and train Peoples Bank staff on identifying qualified referrals to Peoples Investments.
  • You will maintain all required licenses as required by law.
  • You will be responsible for meeting business development goals.
  • You will possess knowledge and ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
Requirements

What You Bring to the Team:

  • You have a bachelors degree in finance economics business or related field.
  • You have previous experience in financial advising.
  • You have a NASD Series 7 and 66 license and you may have a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) license.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • You have proven leadership and critical thinking skills.
  • You have demonstrated commitment to providing consistent and exceptional customer service.
  • You have the ability to make independent and confident decisions and can communicate them effectively.
  • You have a mature outgoing demeanor with customers prospects and coworkers.
  • You have excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
  • You are skilled at business communication both verbal and written.
  • You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
  • You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and offsite for meetings and/or training as required.
  • You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission Vision and Values.

We Offer Competitive Compensation:

Salary Range in WA

Base Salary: $77800 annually

As a Financial Advisor your compensation will be based on a combination of guaranteed base salary and commissions.
