Portfolio managers are responsible for investment outcomes by constructing and managing portfolios to provide investment returns in accordance with client goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist lead manager with all aspects of managing the Income funds. This includes:
- Working closely with EMAP team analysts on stock ideas following the established Income process
- Contributing on idea generation for portfolios
- Helping to manage portfolios taking into account stock ideas country/sector tilts risk considerations
- Client communication
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Extensive investing experience
- Strong grasp of fundamental investment with a focus on bottom up stock ideas
- Desire to contribute investment ideas while following a disciplined and consistent framework
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate well with other portfolio managers and analysts
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Emerging Markets equities experience preferable
- Good balance of intellectual curiosity decision making capability and ability to think clearly in a volatile market environment
