Job Description

Corporate Safety & Security Manager

Seattle WA

Our client a missiondriven nonprofit in the Pacific Northwest is looking for a Corporate Safety & Security Manager to lead the strategic direction and handson of safety programs across the organization. This role will work collaboratively with Safety Compliance and Risk Management teams as well as program leadership to strengthen workplace safety conduct audits oversee safety committees and enhance emergency preparedness.

Corporate Safety & Security Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute safety policies procedures and training programs.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate incidents conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee security measures including surveillance access control and emergency response.
  • Lead safety committees and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Analyze data to identify safety trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present safety reports to leadership.

Corporate Safety & Security Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health Emergency Management Business or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in safety with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • OSHA 30hour certification required.
  • Experience with workers compensation incident reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced degree CSP/CIH/OHST certification and/or experience with a nonprofit in manufacturing or healthcare is preferred.
