Job Description
Scope: Tosupportthe Expeditors facility in the pursuit of Warehouse Excellence by promoting a culture of safety and securityin a facility that isefficient and meets high quality standards through continuous improvement and modernization.
Responsibilities:
Facility Operations
Ensure a safe and secure work environment
Maintain warehouse procedures and safety standards
Maintain a clean and professional facility
Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe operational condition
Manage inventory of packaging materials and supplies
Provide input to equipment procurement and maintenance and facility repair
Operations and Quality
Oversee the processes in the area of responsibility following operational standards (OPS) and KPI expectations
Improve safety quality delivery and cost through continuous improvement methods
Load/unload segregation and accurate labeling of cargo
Maintain compliance to facility certification requirements and government policies
Participate in transitioning new customers and implementation processes
Manage prevent and resolve inventory over/short/damage process and customer exceptions
Perform process audits to ensure security and safety of people facility and freight
Qualifications :
Skills/Experience
Expertise in warehouse operations & supporting technology
**StandUp forklift experience required**
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with statistics and analysis
