DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop test and debug automated tasks including applications systems and infrastructure. Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle to ensure sustainable software releases. Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless postmortems. Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions. Build and drive adoption for greater selfhealing and resiliency patterns. Participate in performance tests identify bottlenecks opportunities for optimization and capacity demands. Participate in 24x7 support coverage as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Computer Information Systems Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer Technical Lead IT Consultant or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Unix; Windows 10 or above; Agile SDLC; Microservices; J2EE; Java; Javascript; Shell Scripting; SQL; Apache Tomcat; REST; SOAP; WebSphere; Maven; JSON; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; Dynatrace; Oracle; Splunk; GIT; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; SRE observability; monitoring services to support multicloud environments using tools including Prometheus; Grafana; AppDynamics.
