If you are a Leanprofessional with an electrical background looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an excellent opportunity in Houston Texas. As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer you will lead theimprovement ofmanufacturing processes production layouts and materials flow at the Crossridge Manufacturing Facility.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing common manufacturing processes and Best Practices within plant operations. This position is also responsible for achieving Best Customer Service and Perfect objectives. The objective is to establish and implement common Lean Best Practices via standardize work across all product lines within the facility to achieve Key Performance Indicators.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work with the Manufacturing Facility and Management to drive the following actions:

  • Build and deploy the lean transformation plan within the organization to achieve operationalobjectives.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement by daily handsoncoaching and working closely with all levels in theorganization.
  • Design and implement lean processes while following PDCAmethodology.
  • Participate in Daily Management process including daily management meetings and GEMBAwalks.
  • Facilitate Kaizen and SMED events to drive improvements using Pull Kanban Standard Work 5S and making materialflow.

You identify and create the processes necessary to get work done. You pursue everything with energy drive and the need to finish. You break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or another technical field
  • 3 years of successful lean implementation experience with consistent track record of sustainable results
  • Validated experience in key lean tools and concepts such as: VSM 5S Std Work Creating Continuous Flow Material Flow and Transactional Lean)
  • Experience with leading and directing manufacturing engineeringprofessionals
  • Capable of domestic and internationaltravel up to 15

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronics Instrumentation
  • Experience working with PCBA Power cards andMotors
  • Confirmed understanding of Toyota Production System
